Get to know me...
Brenda launched her thereapy practice in response to the mental health and relational health needs observed in our culture, and in the lives of church leaders. I believe that integrating faith into therapy offers the most effective path to healing and lasting transformation, and am dedicated to addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through a faith-based approach that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Brenda Stewart, LMFT - MA, MDiv, DMin
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling from the John Townsend Institute at Concordia University, a Master of Divinity from Tozer Seminary and Doctor of Ministry in Redemptive Organizational Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Seminary. I am also a certified Life and Leadership Coach.
After spending over 20 years of serving in the church and in Christian education, I turned my focus to counseling as a way to address the challenges that people face. Combining my education and life experience, I offer a unique blend of high quality professional clinical counseling integrated with faith-based principles to improve your spiritual, emotional and psychological health, relationships and other life challenges.
I have been married for over 30 years to a pastor, and together my husband and I have raised four children. I have a passion for marriage and family health, blended families, parenting children and teens, and young adults, spiritual direction and Christian Leaders.
